兩個音節(jié)的形容詞有以下三種情況：

1.兩個音節(jié)的形容詞字尾為y時加-er, -est，如y前是子音字母，則變

y為i，再加-er和-est。

If you had were two minutes earlier, you could get the last blue

rose.

如果你能早到兩分鐘，你能得到最后一只藍玫瑰。

2.有些形容詞如pleasant, handsome, common, polite, quiet, stupid

以及字尾是-er, -le和-ow的形容詞有兩種變化方式：字尾加-er,

-est或字前加more, most。

This “Love” balloon is the most special and pleasantest gift I

have found today.

這個“愛”氣球是我今天發(fā)現(xiàn)的最特別、最討人喜歡的禮物。

pleasant/ pleasanter(more pleasant)/ pleasantest(most pleasant)

Let's try to find a more simple (simpler) way to work out the

problem.
我們找一個更簡便的方法解決這個問題吧。

You are more clever (cleverer) than me. And I think you are the

most clever (cleverest) in our class.
你比我聰明，我認為你是我們班最聰明的。

3.其他的兩音節(jié)形容詞都是在字前加more, most。

But I think the red one is much more beautiful than the blue one.

但我認為紅玫瑰比藍玫瑰更漂亮。

John is the most active student in physics class. You'd better

learn from him and become more active.
約翰在物理課上最活躍，你最好向他學習，變得更活躍一些。

※三個或更多音節(jié)形容詞有兩種情形：

1.原為加-er, -est的兩音節(jié)形容詞，加了字首而變成三音節(jié)后，依

然在字尾加-er, -est。

You are not the unhappiest person today. Look at that boy!

你不是今天最不開心的人�？茨莻�男孩!

2.其余一律在字前加more, most。

This job is more difficult than I thought before.

這活兒比我以前想的要困難。

Physics is the most difficult subject for me.

對我來說物理是最難的學科。
It is more difficult than other courses for many students.
對很多學生來說，物理比其它科目更難。
But I think doing experiments is the most interesting part of the

class.
但是我認為做實驗是課堂上最有趣的事情。
Cheer up! We both have to be more diligent in our study.
